A

Is there a Concrete airdrop or token? Yes - Concrete confirmed its governance token, $CT (ERC-20 on Ethereum, fixed 1B total supply, no inflation), via the Concrete Foundation announcement. The TGE and any distribution/claim process have not been announced yet. Community tools that model a "$CT" airdrop are still explicit what-ifs with user-supplied guesses. Treat any "claim your token" link as a scam until Concrete announces an official claim process.

Is Concrete audited? Yes - Halborn, Cantina, Zellic and Code4rena have audited different components and versions; Cantina also runs a bug bounty. See Security. Audits reduce but do not remove risk.

What is AssetCX? A mechanism that mints a 1:1 on-chain representation of assets held in qualified custody so they can earn vault yield without leaving custody. See AssetCX.

What does "APY" mean on vault cards? Annualised yield with compounding. Target APY is a goal; live APY is a position-weighted average of reported APYs; 7-day live is the trailing-week version. None are guarantees.

What is an "approval" transaction? The first-time token permission allowing the vault contract to pull your tokens for deposit. Only approve the exact vault on the official app; revoke unused approvals later.

Who is the Allocator? An automated role that moves capital between strategies as instructed by off-chain routing.

B

What are "bags"? Points-precursors earned through social quests in Phase 1 of the Points program; to be converted into Concrete Points at a ratio not published in the docs.

Can I bridge into a vault? Some vaults support Enso integration to bridge and/or swap and deposit in one flow.

Does Concrete have a Bitcoin vault? Yes - a WBTC Vault (Ethereum) was listed on the app, with a 21-day withdrawal queue and Fireblocks custody at the snapshot date. Other BTC-related share tokens (ctLBTC, ctBeraLBTC) appear in the docs glossary.

Is the vault code open source? The contract source is in a private repository; partners can request access after signing an NDA. Audit reports are public. The docs and SDK are public.

C

What is a curator? The operator that designs and runs a vault's strategies (Concrete or a partner such as Royco or USDai).

What is concUSD? Concrete's reward-bearing, dollar-denominated liquidity token, issued via the PayPal/M0/MoonPay PYUSDx platform and used as a common liquidity layer across Concrete's vaults (deposits, withdrawals, integrated lending). It is not the same as ctAsset vault shares or the unlaunched $CT token. No contract address is documented in official sources this guide could verify - see concUSD.

Which chains are supported? The SDK lists Ethereum, Arbitrum, Berachain, Katana, Corn and Morph. The subgraph docs list Ethereum, Arbitrum One and Stable. Each vault lives on a specific chain - check its card.

What is a cooldown? On some vaults, shares from each deposit can't be withdrawn/transferred until that deposit's cooldown ends. Early exit may cost a fee (0-1%, decaying) paid in shares.

Are my funds in the vault contract? Per the docs, deposits are forwarded to strategies; for custodied strategies they sit in a Gnosis Safe or Fordefi MPC wallet - "assets live in custody, not the vault".

What is a `ctAsset`? The ERC-20 vault share (e.g. ctWBTC). See Vault shares.

D

Where does Concrete's data come from on community dashboards? Community tools read on-chain via public RPCs (ERC-4626 calls) and DefiLlama's public APIs for TVL/APY.

Do I pay to deposit? No deposit fee (and no withdrawal fee). Gas applies. Management/performance fees are charged inside the vault as share dilution.

Why does the app say I'm in a restricted jurisdiction? Access is blocked in some jurisdictions (sanctions and other ineligible regions). Read the Terms and the Restricted Jurisdictions page; if you think it's an error, refresh or open a support ticket. Don't use workarounds that violate the Terms.

E

What is an epoch? A withdrawal batching window in queued vaults. Requests join the open epoch; at cutoff it closes; then it's processed and claimable.

What is Concrete Enterprise? The platform for launching/running your own institutional-grade vault (bring your own strategy & wallets, hosted UI or SDK, daily NAV, monitoring portal).

What is ERC-4626? The Ethereum tokenized-vault standard Concrete vaults implement.

F

What are the fees? Deposit/withdrawal: none. Management: 0-10%/yr (standard 1.5% on most vaults). Performance: 0-30% of net positive yield, optionally above a hurdle. Cooldown exit: 0-1%. Configured per vault. See Fees.

What does FIFO mean here? First-in-first-out ordering of queued withdrawals when caps spread them over epochs.

What is the Funding Trail? A community-built Academy page charting Blueprint Finance's disclosed funding rounds since 2022. Verify with official sources.

G

Do I need gas? Yes - native token of the chain (ETH on Ethereum) for approval, deposit, withdrawal request and claim transactions.

Who governs the vaults? Roles are split: Vault Owner, ROLE_ADMIN and operational roles, and the Factory Owner. See Architecture. Concrete has confirmed its $CT governance token, but on-chain token-based governance (locking/staking) had only just been announced and was not yet live as of this writing.

H

What is a hurdle rate? A target return for depositors; performance fees apply only to yield above it (fixed APY, fixed APR or dynamic).

What are hooks? Optional modules that run before/after deposit, mint, withdraw, redeem and transfer (e.g. whitelist, deposit cap, deposit lock). A reverting hook blocks the operation.

Who monitors vaults? Hypernative (24/7 detection) with ZeroShadow holding a pre-delegated pause mandate.

I

Can anyone deposit in any vault? No. Permissioned / Permission Required vaults (institutional, AssetCX, some private vaults) require approval.

What is impermanent loss? Underperformance of an LP position vs holding when prices diverge. It matters for AMM/LP-based vaults and volatile pairs.

Is it insured? The docs describe no insurance layer. Assume no insurance.

J

Which jurisdictions are restricted? See the official Restricted Jurisdictions page - it's the authority and can change.

K

Does any Concrete tool ever need my seed phrase or private key? Never. Also, the read-only community tracker never requests signatures/approvals. Anything asking for a seed phrase is a scam.

Do I need KYC? For standard Earn vaults the docs describe accepting the Terms/Privacy Policy and address screening (Chainalysis) for high-risk or restricted-jurisdiction activity; they don't describe a separate KYC step. Institutional/AssetCX/permissioned vaults have their own eligibility processes - ask the team.

L

What is liquidation protection / borrowing? Some community content refers to borrow and liquidation-protection features. The current official docs focus on Earn vaults, institutional vaults, AssetCX and Enterprise; check the docs before assuming a feature is live.

How does looping work? A strategy that repeatedly borrows and re-supplies using flash loans to amplify exposure - higher potential yield, higher liquidation/LTV risk.

Is there a lock-up? Depends on the vault: withdrawal queue (weeks in some cases), cooldown, or deposit-lock hooks.

M

What is the management fee base? Annualised on vault AUM, accrued continuously by elapsed time.

What is a multisig / MPC wallet? Wallets requiring multiple approvals (Safe) or split-key signing (Fordefi) so no single person can move funds.

N

What is NAV and how often is it updated? Net asset value drives share price. Enterprise vaults run a daily three-party automation cycle for NAV, epoch close and withdrawal processing.

How many users are there? The Earn app showed ~53.76K depositors and $1.296B deposits on 20 Sep 2026.

O

What is off-chain accounting? For custodied strategies, an operator reports the position's value on-chain within a validity window; if it lapses, the vault halts until fixed.

Who is OFAC? The US Treasury sanctions office; sanction lists inform restricted jurisdictions.

P

How do I get points? Via the official points site quests (X, Discord, content) and, in future phases, app usage. Details change - see points.concrete.xyz.

What is a pre-deposit vault? A time-limited vault that seeds a new chain/strategy: deposit on a source chain, claim shares on the target chain via LayerZero.

What is the priority withdrawal executor? A trusted role that can fast-track a payout at grossAssets − unwindCost, capped by unwindCostCapBP (default 500 bps).

Q

What is qualified custody? Assets held by a regulated custodian on behalf of a client. AssetCX represents them on-chain without moving them.

Why is my withdrawal "Queued"? Your request is in the open epoch. It becomes Processing after cutoff and Available when you can claim.

R

Can I lose money? Yes. Strategy losses reduce share price; you may lose some or all of your deposit. Past performance isn't indicative.

What is Royco on the app? Partner-curated vaults (Royco ETH, Senior Royco USDC) whose deposit flow links to Royco's app.

How do I redeem? Atomic vault → redeem in one tx. Queued vault → request, wait for the epoch, then claim. Pre-deposit → claim on the target chain.

S

What is the SDK? @concrete-xyz/sdk, a viem-based library with vanilla, React and Wagmi bindings. See SDK guide.

What's the subgraph? A per-chain The Graph deployment indexing factories, vaults, strategies, queues and daily stats. See Subgraph guide.

What is slippage? Difference between expected and executed swap price; matters for swap-in deposits and rebalancing.

T

What is TVL and why do numbers differ between pages? Total value locked. The homepage ("assets on platform"), the app ("deposits") and DefiLlama use different scopes/timing, so figures differ.

Which tokens can I deposit? Each vault takes one asset (WBTC, USDT, USDC, ETH/weETH, USD1, etc.). Enso may allow swaps in.

U

Can Concrete change my vault's code? Upgrades are pull-based: vault owners pull from the factory, Concrete cannot push upgrades onto deployed vaults; upgrades only follow migration paths the factory owner enabled.

What is USD1? A USD-pegged stablecoin issued by World Liberty Financial (per the docs glossary); an RWA USD1 vault exists as a permissioned product.

V

What is vault transparency? An app panel showing an off-chain portfolio breakdown by asset, protocol and network - delayed ~24 hours, shown only when enabled for the vault.

How do I verify a vault address? Compare the address on the vault card with Etherscan (token name/symbol) and never trust addresses from DMs.

W

Why did my final withdrawal amount differ from the estimate? The share price is locked when the epoch is processed, not when you requested.

What is the WBTC vault's exit time? The card showed a 21-day withdrawal queue at the snapshot date; check the live card.

What is a whitelist hook? A hook that restricts deposits to approved addresses.

X

What are the official social accounts? X: @ConcreteXYZ (Concrete) and @Blueprint_DeFi (Blueprint Finance); Discord: discord.gg/concretexyz. Beware of lookalike handles and .xyz phishing domains - type concrete.xyz yourself.

Y

Where does the yield come from? Whatever the vault's strategies do (lending, looping, LP, custodied/off-chain, RWA…). The protocol doesn't prescribe a source; the curator does.

Is yield compounded automatically? Yield is reflected in the share price, so holdings compound implicitly.

Z

Who is ZeroShadow? A security partner with pre-delegated authority to pause vaults under a defined mandate.

Zero fees anywhere? No - deposits/withdrawals are free but vaults may charge management/performance fees, and you always pay gas.
