The one-paragraph answer
Concrete (concrete.xyz) is on-chain yield infrastructure. It lets people and institutions put crypto assets (BTC, ETH, stablecoins and others) into vaults. Each vault deploys the deposit into vetted yield strategies, and hands the depositor a vault share token (called a ctAsset, e.g. ctWBTC) that grows in value as the vault earns. Concrete is built by Blueprint Finance (the footer of concrete.xyz reads "© 2026 Blueprint Finance").
The mental model: deposit → get → earn → use
The homepage explains the whole product as four verbs:
| Step | What happens |
|---|
| Deposit | You deposit an asset such as WBTC, USDe, USDT, weETH or EIGEN (the asset icons shown on the site). |
| Get | You receive a vault share - an ERC-20 token. |
| Earn | The vault earns yield (and, on some vaults, points). |
| Use | Shares are ordinary ERC-20s, so the site shows them being usable across DeFi (Pendle, Morpho and Euler are the logos shown). |
The three product pillars
- Earn - the retail-facing app at app.concrete.xyz/earn. Automated vault strategies: deposit once and the system allocates, rebalances and compounds across on-chain opportunities.
- Enterprise - a white-label / institutional vault platform for protocols, issuers and funds ("Vaults that scale with you"). Partners bring their own strategy and wallets. See Enterprise, AssetCX & institutional.
- AssetCX - lets assets that must stay with a qualified custodian (Anchorage, BitGo, Ceffu, Coinbase, Cobo, Copper, Fireblocks, Hex Trust, Zodia are listed on the enquiry form) earn on-chain yield without leaving custody.
Scale (snapshot, 20 Sep 2026)
These figures were read from the live sites on the date above. They change constantly and different pages use different definitions, so always re-check the source.
| Metric | Value | Where it was shown |
|---|
| Assets on platform | $902.3M | concrete.xyz homepage |
| Assets processed | $11.25B | concrete.xyz homepage / Enterprise page (updated monthly) |
| Total deposits, all live vaults | $1.296B | app.concrete.xyz/earn |
| Volume (deposits + transfers + withdrawals) | $23.48B | app.concrete.xyz/earn |
| Depositors | 53.76K | app.concrete.xyz/earn |

- Security & monitoring partners: audits by Halborn, Cantina, Zellic and Code4rena; Hypernative for monitoring; ZeroShadow for emergency pause. See Security.
What Concrete is not
- It does not guarantee yield. APY is variable and vaults can lose money.
- It is not a bank account and there is no deposit insurance.
- As of 20 Sep 2026 it has confirmed a governance token, $CT (ERC-20 on Ethereum, fixed 1B total supply, no inflation), via the Concrete Foundation announcement - but no TGE date or claim/distribution process has been announced yet. Anything asking you to "claim" or "connect" today is a scam (see FAQ → A).
